Forms 3 & 4 had a truly immersive workshop on Thursday 4th May, using Virtual Reality headsets to explore the topic of Climate Change. As part of their Geography Topic on Climate Change the expert droid ‘Glido’ and his pals guided the children around the Earth in virtual reality. The children witnessed real ecological problems brought to life, along with simple real-life solutions. Issues such as pollution, overfishing, agriculture and plastic waste were examined. The children were on a high after their workshops and were left with a positive message of empowerment and hope for the future of their planet.
