Why St David’s School?

What Parents Say About Us

Welcome to St David's School

Welcome to St David’s School, a co-educational school for pupils aged 3-11, situated in a residential, tree-lined road in Purley, Surrey.

SMALL, HAPPY SCHOOL

St David’s is a small, happy school (approximately 165 children) which is renowned for its family atmosphere. Our main aim is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which children will develop a respect for and understanding of others and their beliefs, whilst pursuing a curriculum which enables them to maximise every aspect of their creative and academic intelligence.

PROVIDING AN ALL-ROUND EDUCATION

At St David’s pupils are given every possible encouragement and opportunity to reach their full potential. Pupils’ experiences are enriched by a wide, varied and imaginative programme of extra-curriculuar activities, which include many team and individual sports, music groups and creative activities such as drama and gardening.

TALENTED AND CARING STAFF

Our rich and stimulating curriculum is delivered by a talented and caring staff and our small class sizes enable children to receive individual attention and to feel secure, happy and confident.

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE

All children (including Early Years) may be dropped at school from 8.10 am where they will be looked after by staff. School does not officially start until 8.30am.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

We have an After School Club, called Daffodils, which is run by Jancett Playsafe. Provision is provided from 3pm until 6.30pm and children need to be registered to attend. Please click here to find our more about our Daffodils club and information on how to register for this service.
