At St David’s, the study of Science for our children is a voyage of discovery. In Key Stage 1, Science stimulates their curiosity and provides a vehicle for them to explore their world, to ask questions about things that they observe and to make sense of their observations. Our older pupils in Key Stage 2 are challenged to independently hypothesise, design experiments, make predictions, as well as to analyse and draw conclusions from results they have gathered.
Science draws upon many other aspects of a well-rounded curriculum and we aim to make our lessons practical, interesting and, above all, fun.
