Form 2 performed a wonderful assembly to their parents and the rest of the school on Tuesday 7th February. They shared work that they have been doing on their topic of the ‘Best of British’. They have been looking at stories by the British author, Roald Dahl and particularly his books The BFG and The Twits. The children read out character descriptions and new tricks that they had created based on The Twits story; they even acted out a short version of The Twits, which the audience thoroughly enjoyed! Finally, the children shared their Dream jars, which were based on The BFG story, and sang a wonderful rendition of “When I Grow Up” from the musical version of Matilda. The Form 2 children were amazing: they spoke clearly and confidently and put on a super show – well done!
