Form 2 had a great time taking part in an interactive presentation called ’Christmas Unwrapped’ at ChristChurch, Purley. Jude Barber led the session and encouraged the children to find and unpack presents hidden around the church containing clues to the Christmas story. As a class they produced a book of the Christmas story which they were able to bring back to school with them. In addition to this they each made mangers for jelly-baby Jesuses, designed patterns on angels, made glow-in-the dark star decorations and decorated treasure chests containing gold coins. What a great way to re-learn the story of the first Christmas in this Advent season.
