On Monday 26th February, Form 3 visited Beckenham Place Park as part of their Science topic on Rocks and Soils. They completed an investigation into the rocks around the park, looking at features of rock types and how different types of rocks can be used.

In the afternoon, our group leader Abigail told us that her piece of birthday cake, that she was going to tuck into for lunch, had mysteriously disappeared with only some muddy footprints left by the perpetrator. The children became detectives and investigated the various different soil samples around the park;  using the soils as evidence to find the guilty cake thief! Everyone had lots of fun and got incredibly muddy!
