St David’s Day

St David’s Day was celebrated with a vibrant array of activities today. The day kicked off with a St David’s assembly and Eisteddfod competition, showcasing the talents of students, as they recited poems that they had learnt. Junior children read out poems that they had written themselves, all based around a particular form or style of poetry.

Throughout the morning, children got into their ‘family’ groups and engaged in crafts and fun activities. The excitement continued with playful games of “Pin the Tail on the Dragon,” and the older pupils read Dragon stories to their younger family members. In the afternoon, students immersed themselves in various exciting activities, fostering a sense of community, teamwork and celebration throughout the school.
