The U9 football team have had a couple of friendly fixtures in the past week. Both ended in defeat, however, big improvements were seen between the first and the second game. It has been great to have both boys and girls in the team and our teamwork and match play will only improve. Jacob scored a great goal in our recent 3-1 defeat to Collingwood which was an excellent way to finish a close-fought match.

BEE Netball Festival
Mrs Palfreyman recently took 8 Form 4 children to Coombe Wood School for a BEE Netball Festival run by Croydon School Sport Partnerships. The festival involved our children taking part in a variety of skill stations before playing some friendly matches against other schools. BEE Netball involves a limited number of players on the court at a time and includes boys also playing the game of Netball. The children performed brilliantly and won all of their games but overall had a great afternoon out of the classroom!
