On Friday 22nd March, the whole school from Reception to Form 6 had a fantastic day attending a Maths workshop. The workshop took Maths to the stars. Children were challenged with various mathematical activities, which required them to help Major Tom select the best astronaut.

Each class had a classroom-based activity and workshop with Major Tom. Staff and children really loved the workshop. The head boy and head girl had this to say about the workshop:

Head boy – “We had a great time, as the workshop was fun and informative! I learnt some amazing facts and I am really grateful for the experience.”

Head girl – “I had a wonderful time throughout the day. I learnt extraordinary facts about space and in the games, I loved building a team work ethic.”
