The children in Forms 1 to 6 were treated to a fun and informative workshop by Jo from the Dogs Trust. Jo taught the children how to care for a dog, why you should not stroke a strange dog without the owner’s permission, and where best to do so if you do have permission. The children also learnt about responsible dog ownership, the considerations that a person must make before buying or adopting a dog and safe behaviour around dogs – both for ourselves and for the dog.
