On Friday 25th February we celebrated St David’s Day. In the morning, the Eisteddfod finalists performed their poems to the school and two of our school governors (Mrs Thompson and Mrs Grant) who judged the competition. The children recited their poems so brilliantly that the judges found it very difficult to judge this year.
Congratulations go to all the finalists and especially to the winners who were: Alisha (Reception), Dylan (Form 1), Florence (Form 2), Paran (Form 3), Rahavan (Form 4), Arun (Form 5) and Noelle (Form 6).
The children enjoyed creating a variety of craft activities through the day and had special St David’s cakes at break time! A wonderful day was enjoyed by all.
