It’s been a busy fortnight in the sports department with lots of cross country, football and netball fixtures:
Forms 1-4 Cross Country Competition: Twenty-four children from Forms 1-4 took part in the Croydon Cross Country championships. They all competed excellently and gave it their all, especially considering there were over 120 children in each race. Our best finishers were the Form 2 boys & girls who all finished in the top 20 in their respective races.
U11 Girls Netball: Our U11 girls teams had matches against Kenley Primary School this week. There were some excellent skills on show with St David’s winning both matches. Well done girls.
U11 Boys Football: The U11 team have played two league matches which resulted in a 3-1 loss against Beaumont and a 3-2 loss against Kenley, as well as a Croydon Cup game against The Quest, which resulted in a 4-3 win. Well done to Arun who scored all the goals for St David’s!
U11 Girls Football: Our U11 girls team played a fixture against Royal Russell which resulted in a 6-0 loss for St David’s.
Form 2 Games Morning: Form 2 welcomed Elmhurst School for a morning of mini-football matches and multi-sports activities. Everyone had a great time competing and taking part in a variety of different sports.
