Form 2 Archery Festival

During the Autumn term, children from Form 2 took part in an Archery club during their lunchtimes. It was a great way for them to be introduced to a new sport and develop their skills in this complex activity. As a result, a festival was organised for these children to compete against some other local schools.

On Thursday 20th January, St Peter’s School and Collingwood School bought along some of their Form 2 children to create a fun festival environment. In their school teams, children rotated around 8 different archery activities. All of the activities involved aiming at a target and scoring as many points as they could.

Points were collated and overall St David’s achieved 235 points!! The Form 2 children really enjoyed the afternoon, despite it being very chilly!
