On Friday 11th March, the St David’s Girls Football Team travelled to Elmers End Goals to take part in a football tournament organised by the ISA.
It was a wet, grey day to play football but the girls remained very excited. The team were grouped with 4 other schools, and the girls did excellently to win 3 of their 4 group matches to progress to the Semi-Finals. It was great to see the girls rotate positions, in particular as goalkeepers, and work together to achieve their best.
The team just fell short of getting into the Finals but were very proud of their achievements. They look forward to their next football opportunity!
