Form 2 visited Brooklands Museum on Tuesday 15th November in order to learn more about the history of transport. They attended the “Journeys by Air” guided tour, where they learnt about the history of flight and how aeroplanes are built and climbed inside a Concorde. At a “Peg Racers” workshop, the class made their own racing cars, which they subsequently raced against each other. The children also visited the airport factory where they designed their own aircraft on screen. The day ended at the Bus Museum, where the class received a bus ticket, explored buses through the ages and tooted on the horn!
